She has an ambition to be part of Vail's history. She lives, eats and breathes the Vail lifestyle and she wants to share the experience with others. Although she is a native Coloradoan, always having a home in Denver, she traveled extensively growing up which is ultimately what brought her back to the mountains and to a career involving homes. During her travels, and her time away from Colorado, she longed for the crisp blue skies, fresh air, stunning change of seasons and active lifestyle. Additionally, being away from home so often helped her to understand the meaning of a home whether it be a full-time or part-time home, these spaces are critically important to a life well lived.

Donna's experience is broad.

She has worked in real estate in Vail for 35 years, not only in sales and property management, but as the Vice President of two boutique real estate firms. 13 years ago, she found her permanent home with Slifer Smith and Frampton. In Donna's words, this company offers something very special that other companies in Vail do not have, which is 60 years of caring for this community and 60 years of client relationships. Donna's Family.

Donna and her husband Bill live in Edwards. Bill works in the high-end Audio/Visual business. Their careers complement each other as he also works with many of the homes Donna sells. Their two sons, who were born and raised in Vail, are both living in New York. Chase (28) studied Information Technology at Rochester Institute of Technology and currently works as a software engineer for Visual DX, a medical imaging firm.  Cole (26) obtained his B.S. and Master's Degrees in Mechanical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He completed the Edison Engineering program with GE Global Research and is now a Research Engineer focusing on cutting edge research with jet engine controls for GE Aerospace.
